Web Partner - FAQ
Are there any gaurantees on a security assessment?
No security company can (or should) offer any guarantees. The
tests will be correct at the time of testing however new vulnerabilities/exploits
become available constantly and so no guarantees can be made.
How does the fixed pricing work?
If you are a Gold or Silver partner Prolateral will fix our price
to you in any 6 or 3 month period. At the end of each period the
pricing will be revised and fixed for a further 6 or 3 month period.
Which is the best partner program for me?
All of the Prolateral partner programs are self selecting, giving
you option to fit the program into your level of predicted business.
However if your still not sure then we suggest you start with
the bronze level and you can promote yourself to the next level
when ever you are ready.
What return will I see?
Well that is really up to you. If you see our pricing guide,
you will see our partner price to you and the recommended retail
price to your customer.
Do I have to pay to join the partner program?
NO!!!
Both our companies are in business to be successful, the partner
program is designed to help both our businesses by extending your
product portfolio to include our services. The rest is up to you.
I don't keep up to speed in the security market place,
how do I know what I should charge my customer?
Prolateral will continue to monitor the market place and will
regularly keep you advised of pricing.
How does the bonus scheme work?
Typically a customer will want a single security assessment,
however that assessment is only valid on the day it was carried
with the existing web content. Now days people have fast changing
and dynamic web sites, therefore the more sales you bring we offer
you the ability to have your own web site tested free of charge
on a more regular basis.
What do you test for in a web site vulnerability assessment?
We test the following:
- The host server
- The web server configuration
- The web site itself, for bugs, vulnerabilities, cross site
scripting, and dead links.
