Prolateral has received even more calls from clients this week saying they have received calls from a company called FixOnClick or ClickToFix. The caller is stating your PC is infected with a virus or malware and is offering for a chargeable fee to remote connect to your PC and fix it for you.
When the caller connects to the PC they in fact do nothing to your PC and still charge you for. They claim they have removed the Malware or Virus and yet there was no virus in the first place.
