Setting up your proEmail service.
proEmail is a hosted email service so there are several sections to setting up proEmail
- Initial configuration
- Mailbox creation
- Client Application configuration
Initial configuration
In order to use proEmail you need to own your own domain name/s. If you want to configure proEmail to support multiple domain names then decide on which domain name is going to be the primary domain for configuration.
You will need access to the DNS settings of the domain name/s in order to configure several MX, CNAME, TXT and SRV records. Your exact records can be found in the management portal under the settings section of your proEmail package. The below example shows what your DNS records will look like for the domain example.com.

proEmail Mailbox configuration
Log into the management portal and navigate to the proEmail section. From within the proEmail package you can:-
- Create mailboxes
- Create shared mailboxes
- Create resources
- Create distrubtion lists

Removing and Uninstalling
If you no longer want to use the proEmail service you can cancel at anytime from within the secure clients area. To remove/uninstall proEmail please see the guides above or the support pages for your configuration as all knowledgebase articles detail the setup and removal of proEmail.
