Prolateral offers primary and backup domain (DNS) services, with servers in key geographic locations providing the best service possible.

Prerequisites

In order to use the Master DNS service you must meet the following criteria

  • You must own the domain name or being in the process of regstering one.
  • You must have access to domain name settings in order to set the nameservers as nsX.dns-engine.com

If you have more than one domain name then you will need to sign up each domain name seperately.

We have many domains hosted on our Internal DNS server.  We use Prolateral's backupDNS service to give us additional (public) DNS servers with global presence.  Great solution and very cost effective.
