The core benefits of Master DNS

Our DNS servers were designed with the following considerations in mind

  • Redundancy, When people browse the internet and encounter a "website not found" error, many people will naturally assume that the site no longer exists. However this can sometimes be related to a DNS issue where the nameserver has failed. If you are running a online site then this sort of failure isn't acceptable. Our DNS servers are geographically located across the global to provide better redundancy.  In addition all domain names and their records are serviced by at least 5 different servers.

  • Security, is one of our top proirities and we do everything we can to be aware of any security issues affecting our servers and resolve them as soon as praticible.

  • Performance, As a managed DNS provider, we are strongly committed to providing the most performant service to our customers.

We have many domains hosted on our Internal DNS server.  We use Prolateral's backupDNS service to give us additional (public) DNS servers with global presence.  Great solution and very cost effective.
